Three Rivers Waldorf School has been bringing Waldorf education to the La Crosse, Wisconsin area since 1996. The spacious school building and playground is located in the historic Lower North Side and Depot Neighborhood where the Mississippi, Black and La Crosse Rivers converge amidst scenic bluffs, prairies and wetlands. The school is a member of the Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America and a developing school member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA).
Three Rivers Waldorf School is part of a worldwide network of over 1000 Waldorf schools; an approach to education that has been successful for nearly 100 years and is one of the largest and fastest growing independent school movements in the world. Three Rivers Waldorf School and our Little Lights Programs offers a developmentally appropriate, balanced approach to education that integrates the arts and academics for children from 3 months of age through eighth grade. It encourages the development of each child’s sense of truth, beauty and goodness. The aim of the education is to develop a lifelong love of learning and enable students to fully develop their unique capacities.
